The Australian young player James Wharton who was only 14 years old signed Ferrari. He have to wait to reach his age 15, because it was the minimum age for that category.
He was signed in the Young driver academy and with a drive in formula four on offer. The Ferrari Academy’s Scouting World Finals was won by Daniel Ricciardo from Bundoora, Victoria. He won the finals by defeating the other five youngsters from all over the world, held at evaluation camp at Maranello.

Academy head Marco Matassa said that,” He was good in natural speed and also he has the capability to listen. He was in practice to follow the guidelines which was given to him”.
“His characters like level headed, positive minded, good team player and most active behavior make him exactly fit in the motor sport”, Said he.
The academy also gave training to many young players to get prepare for formula one. The latest Germany player Mick Schumacher is the son of seven times world champion and Ferrari great Michael.
