The Uruguayan Football Association celebrated the arrival of 67-year-old Marcelo Bielsa with a video and a series of memes mimicking the Argentine’s renown as a great tactician.

Argentine professional football manager Marcelo Bielsa was confirmed now as the new coach of Uruguay team on Monday to the end of the 2026 World Cup.
The association said on Twitter, “Our public demands gameplay and emotions and the time has arrived” .
Marcelo’s first matches may be in June, while Uruguay is planning to scheduled play againsy friendly match with Nicaragua and Cuba.
Marcelo Bielsa coached Argentina team from the year 1998 to 2004. The team was eliminated at the group stage of the 2002 year World Cup and they won the gold medal at the year 2004 Athens Olympics. In this carrier Bielsa also coached Chile from 2007-11. He left the job for personal reasons.
