Spain tennis player Rafael Nadal was awarded the Spain’s top sporting honour by his home country. The 20 time Grand Slam champion got the award Grand Cross of the Order of the Second of May from the Madrid community.

Diaz Ayuso, the president of Madrid community offers the award in his hand. The excited player posts a message on Facebook page,” I am thankful for the community of Madrid, the president and council of government for the great respectful award I got from their hands”.
This year seems a wonderful year for the star player, he won his 13th French Open title in September month and have 20 grand slam titles. He can stand with his long time competitor Roger Federer and he too has many majors.
